Inventory Control System Help

Monitored Inventory:

At the Monitored Inventory Search page, you have 2 types of searches available. You can do a generic "Find All" or a more specific "Search".

Monitored Inventory, are specific part numbers that have been flagged with a minimum trip quantity. The minimum trip quantity is the lowest total inventory count that will alert us to request a new order to be placed into production to replenish stock. Only items in this list are considered "flagged", this does not include items in normal inventory but not in this list. If you do not see a part on this list, and would like it flagged, please contact your sales representative and request it be added.

At 1:00 am CST from Monday to Friday, the system will do a summary count of all the flagged items and compare that count with the minimum trip quantity. If any of the items are at or below the trip quantity, an email will be sent to the sales representative informing them of the current inventory status for each individual part number.

Find All:
The "Find All" button (fig10b) will generically find all the entries in the monitoring database.

Search:
The "Search" button (fig10a) allows you to specify parameters to narrow your search.

1) Customer Part No: Type a full or partial part number into the text field. The more you type, the more specifically your part number will be matched.

Once you have supplied your search criteria, click the "Search" button.
